Google Play developer lookup: portfolio and totals in one call

How to find a developer by name or id and read their portfolio, totals and website from the API.

By name or by id

The Google Play developer id appears in the store URL of a developer page. A name must be written exactly as the store shows it; the id is the safer choice for names that several developers share.

What comes back

• developer.apps and apps_live: the size of the portfolio.
• total_installs and avg_score: the weight of the portfolio.
• first_release: when the developer started.
• site_domain: the website from the listing.
• results: the apps, 50 per page by default.

Sorting the portfolio

Add sort=released to see the newest apps first, or status=live to drop removed ones.
